Workplace Campaigns
United Way of the Laurel Highlands kicks off their Campaign each fall, helping local businesses develop a Campaign that suits their workplace environment and offers the most efficient way to do it.
Area organizations see that the United Way Campaign not only boosts morale, but it also pulls employees together, enhances employee relations, enables colleagues to work towards a common goal and shows the community that area businesses care about the communities they serve.
The Campaign is an efficient and effective way for area organizations to get to know the community in which they operate. Campaigns help businesses make philanthropy a part of their corporate culture.
Because volunteers lead the Campaign, administrative costs are kept low and impact proves to be greater. Employees not only volunteer as Loaned Executives and Day of Caring volunteers; employees also guide the Campaign. The annual United Way Campaign is a great way to mobilize the caring power in the community and to show by example what it means to LIVE UNITED.
