Loaned Executives
Loaned Executives are key to the success of any United Way Campaign. Local businesses and organizations typically "loan" one of their employees to United Way of the Laurel Highlands to serve part-time (5-15 hours per week) during the campaign season to help develop and implement workplace campaigns. Community volunteers are also welcome to serve as Loaned Executives.
When your organization sends an employee to us, it's a win-win for you, your employee, the United Way and the community! Loaned Executives receive excellent training in account management and public speaking prior to the campaign. For businesses who loan us their "best and brightest," the training and experience gained by their employees is a tremendous long-term asset.
Participation in the Loaned Executives program helps you invest in the growth and development of your employees while at the same time demonstrating a high level of corporate philanthropy to strengthen our community.
