Annual Day of Caring
On September 16, 2009, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, the United Way of the Laurel Highlands will hold its 16th annual Day of Caring. The United Way's Annual Day of Caring is a campaign event in which more than 150 participants take part in helping those in our community who need it the most.
This is a special day that is set aside for community volunteers to help "spruce up" our community and touch lives, including painting, carpentry, cleaning houses for the disabled, playing or reading to children, landscaping and clerical work.
Join local companies and organizations in the effort to help make Cambria and Somerset Counties a better place.
