Executive Director

Community Drug Coalition

The Cambria County Drug Coalition, a newly formed organization focused on leading a county-wide collaborative effort enhancing education, prevention, intervention, and treatment of substance abuse to result in a thriving drug-free community, is seeking a confident and competent Executive Director to develop and lead strategic initiatives and critical success factors in collaboration with many community stakeholders. 

A well-suited candidate is passionate and highly motivated to make a long lasting, positive change in Cambria County, by personally cultivating relationships with, law enforcement, treatment providers, prevention specialists, government, hospitals, media, business, school districts, faith-based community, foundations, and non-profits, for the purpose of making progress towards strategic initiatives and action plans.

Three years or more of business and/or organizational management and leadership required.  Experience in criminal justice, psychology, social work, drug prevention, intervention, and enforcement or related field is a plus.  Knowledge of and network(s) established in Cambria County important for the candidate to possess.

Excellent communication, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills needed to lead, organize, plan and drive strategies and initiatives.  Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software.

This position is expected to be a full-time position but part-time of 30 hours weekly will be considered.
