LifePoint Health Business Services 2019 Campaign
In their first year campaigning to support our work within the community, LifePoint Health Business Services, located in Downtown Johnstown, absolutely crushed the goal of $5,000 that they had set for the year. In total, 36 employees came together to raise a total of $12,052 to impact our community through our 2019 Annual Campaign. "It's amazing what they were able to achieve in their first year campaigning," said Matt Spangler, Community Relationship Manager for Cambria County. "In each and every aspect of the campaign, as well as support for the United Way, their employees came together to show how much they care about their community."
How was this accomplished? LifePoint employees from the very get-go became involved initially with the work of the United Way through volunteering. On 2 separate occasions during both the United Way Day of Action, and the Day of Caring, they offered groups of managers who spent their time cleaning playrooms, kitchens, pantries, and offering their support for local organizations who are benefitting our community.
During Campaign time, they brought us in to give short 15-minute presentations covering the work of the United Way, along with illustrating how employees can easily set up payroll deduction in order to support the great work we do within the community.
And lastly, they set their internal incentive levels to match our car giveaway level. (A $180 pledge for the year, or $15/month)
