Early Childhood Systems Coordinator
The Early Childhood Systems Coordinator oversees the planning, organizing, and implementation of the early childhood strategic plan for Cambria and Somerset Counties. This work supports whole-child development and stable, supported families to make our region the best place to raise a family. The Early Childhood Coordinator will have a collaborative approach to supporting child health, nutrition, education, economic stability, and safety utilizing regional partners.
The Ideal Candidate possesses demonstrated knowledge in the areas of child development and learning, public health initiatives, social determinants of health, health equity, neighborhood and family engagement, grant writing and management, use of scientific literature and data, and action-oriented collaboration. The successful candidate is adaptive, engaging, and strategic in their thinking. They possess exemplary oral and written communication skills, well-developed organizational skills, and the ability to coalition build for positive social change.
